LESSNOISE

(Phuture, Get Physical, VIVa Music, Afro Acid)

An avant-garde electronic music producer, remixer, DJ, and live performer, Lessnoise (also known as Fher Rivera) commenced his musical journey in Mexico in 1991, initially as a guitarist, bassist, and drummer involved in diverse projects spanning genres from metal to new age. His inclination towards electronic music intensified alongside his appreciation for ambient and acid jazz. In 1998, at the age of 18, he exchanged his drum kit and guitars for his first pair of turntables, embarking on the electronic music scene as a DJ. He curated the sonic tapestry for various events, both within and beyond the urban landscape, and soon discovered his true passion. Subsequently, he secured his inaugural residency at a local nightclub and later headlined events across Central and North America, as well as hosting a radio show in New York City, Downshift Radio. Lessnoise unveiled his debut solo live performance at WMC Miami in 2016, a captivating show that drew from his accumulated experiences spanning two decades of unwavering dedication to the art of music. He has shared the stage with a diverse array of live acts and DJs, including DJ Pierre, Steve Lawler, Satoshi Tomiie, Todd Terry, Nick Warren, Doc Martin, and Frankie Bones.
Lessnoise has achieved chart-topping success with his live and studio releases, including those on Baroque Records, Get Physical, Afro Acid, and VIVa MUSiC. His compositions have been remixed by Pole Folder, Jay Tripwire, Solarc, Echonomist, and DJ Pierre. His music has garnered support from esteemed artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, M.A.N.D.Y, and Marshall Jefferson.
Lessnoise has also showcased his expertise as a sound engineer. He has spearheaded recording, mixing, and mastering sessions for renowned artists such as Todd Terry, DJ Spank (Phuture), and DJ Sneak.
Recently, Lessnoise embarked on a global tour with DJ Pierre, as a member of the legendary Acid House group Phuture. His live performances captivated audiences worldwide, including appearances at Awakenings in Amsterdam, Sound Museum Vision in Tokyo, Movement Detroit, ARC in Chicago, and Berghain in Berlin.
